We are currently hiring a Team Leader, Course Programme Support. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the Face to Face Training and Virtual Training logistics of PetroEDGE & PowerEdge programs. The role includes coordinating with trainers, managing operations staff, overseeing event logistics, and staying updated with current market trends in virtual training technology to enhance training offerings.

Position: Team Leader, Course Programme Support

Job Location : Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Virtual Training Logistics Management with Trainers: 

  • Coordinate with trainers to confirm course details. 
  • Schedule orientation sessions, especially for new trainers, on the V platform upon course confirmation. 

Print Material Liaison: 

  • Communicate with printer suppliers for course material printing when required. 

Operations Team Management: 

  • Distribute work to Operations staff and proofread their work. 
  • Undertake ad-hoc activities and projects with the event operations teams. 

Market Trend Awareness: 

  • Stay updated with current market trends in VILT technology to enhance the training offerings and maintain a competitive edge. 

Face-to-Face/Hybrid Events Management: 

  • Manage trainers’ schedules and book airfare when necessary. 
  • Oversee the quality execution of all events, including managing multiple events, monitoring, managing, and deploying resources efficiently. 

General Event Management: 

  • Monitor and manage daily staff work. 
  • Update yearly hotel meeting packages for Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Brunei, Sabah & Sarawak. 
  • Build relationships with key suppliers. 
  • Negotiate agreements with suppliers for cost-effective and high-quality services. 
  • Coordinate the development of materials to execute a quality event. 
  • Personally manage the planning and execution of selected events as required, liaising with trainers, suppliers, etc. 
  • Handle pre-event and onsite communication with delegates and clients. 

Regional Exhibition Support: 

  • Provide administrative support for Petroedge exhibition setup participation in several countries. 

Other Responsibilities: 

  • Perform other ad-hoc administrative duties as assigned from time to time. 


  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. 
  • Prior experience of at least 3 years in event management, particularly in virtual and in-person training environments. 
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. 
  • Proficiency in MS Office and virtual communication tools. 
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. 
  • Familiarity with market trends in technology and training methodologies. 
  • Proven leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
