About this Micro Virtual Instructor Led Training (VILT)

This Micro VILT is designed to deal with one aspect of writing that everyone would like to improve – their writing speed. However, speed must not come at the expense of the quality of the end product. This Micro VILT demonstrates how to marry speed with quality – in other words, to improve our writing efficiency. Overall, the Micro VILT asks writers to assess their current method of writing, and, if necessary, make fundamental changes to the way they approach each writing task. This means looking at their whole approach to writing and asking themselves WHY they have difficulties. It also presents them with a basic strategic framework which can be adapted to any writing situation. To improve writing efficiency, time management is a key aspect. This Micro VILT will show how professional writers divide up their writing process in order to maximise both speed and end product quality.
