This 3-day course provides essential training for maritime professionals involved in ammonia cargo operations, covering the complete operational spectrum from loading and discharging procedures to sophisticated Ship-to-Ship (STS) transfers. Through hands-on exercises and case studies, and expert-led instruction, participants will gain deep insights into the technical requirements and safety protocols necessary for managing ammonia cargo.
The program emphasises practical skills development while addressing the evolving regulatory landscape governing ammonia transport operations. Special attention is given to the emerging demands of hydrogen logistics, where ammonia's stability and transportability offer distinct advantages over other hydrogen carriers. This course will be delivered face-to-face over 3-day, comprising of 8 hours per day, 1 hour lunch and 2 breaks of 15 minutes per day. Course Duration: 19.50 hours in total, 19.50 CPD points. This course is also available in VILT.
