About this Training Course
In today's rapidly evolving energy landscape, the ability to conduct thorough technical and economic analyses is critical for successful project implementation and investment decisions. The global transition to renewable energy requires specialized expertise in both technical feasibility and financial viability, while energy storage integration is becoming a crucial component of renewable energy systems, presenting unique economic challenges and opportunities.
During Day 1, participants will master the foundations of renewable energy technologies with focus on Solar PV system design, resource assessment, and yield estimation using industry tools. Day 2 covers developing expertise in energy storage systems (batteries, pumped hydro, thermal, and hydrogen) and building essential economic analysis frameworks including NPV, IRR, and LCOE calculations. Day 3 focuses on applying integrated techno-economic modeling to optimize system design, conduct sensitivity analyses, and develop comprehensive risk assessment strategies. Through our highly interactive approach featuring real-world case studies, hands-on exercises, and facilitated group discussions, participants will develop practical skills they can immediately apply to their professional roles.
