About this Training Course 

This 3-day interactive training defines the supply chain process in the upstream oil and gas industry, equipping participants with a detailed understanding of the key supply chain and procurement functions and how they interact to support operational efficiency. The course also introduces strategic tools such as Category Management, Market Analysis, the Kraljic Portfolio Matrix, Sustainable Purchasing, and Frame Agreements to strengthen sourcing decisions and supplier relationships.

The course further examines how digital technologies and data-driven practices are transforming supply chain operations, with a focus on end-to-end tracking, data integration, real-time monitoring, and supplier collaboration to enhance visibility and responsiveness. Through discussions, case exercises, and practical applications, participants will develop the knowledge and confidence to manage procurement and supply chain activities effectively in upstream operations.
