About this Training
This 3-day classroom course focuses on ISO 27914 compliance for Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) projects, specifically targeting site feasibility and storage site certification. The course provides participants with invaluable insights into preparing documented evidence for ISO 27914 certification of CO₂ transport and storage facilities.
The training covers crucial aspects of CCS project development, including risk management, geological characterization, flow modelling, geomechanical assessments, and measurement, monitoring, and verification (MMV) planning. Participants will gain a thorough understanding of ISO 27914 requirements and recommendations, learning how to collect and document evidence supporting capacity, injectivity, and containment risk assessments.
Through a combination of lectures, group exercises, and hands-on practice, attendees will develop the skills necessary to prepare for independent ISO certification reviews. The course emphasizes practical application, encouraging participants to begin drafting their contributions to ISO certification evidence documents during the training. This approach ensures that attendees leave with actionable knowledge and skills directly applicable to their CCS projects.
