About this Micro Virtual Instructor Led Training (VILT)

Carbonate reservoirs are very different from clastic reservoirs and are mineralogically unstable. Post depositional alteration is common and it greatly influences petrophysical character. This Micro VILT is designed to refresh the participants' skills in recognizing and understanding the diagenetic and petrophysical characteristics of carbonate reservoirs. The Micro VILT will examine post-depositional changes, the creation and destruction of porosity, including natural fractures and effects on petrophysical character, especially wettability, capillary pressure and saturation.
