About this Micro Virtual Instructor Led Training (VILT)

This Micro VILT is designed to present an overview of SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) Writing. Those new to SOP writing will fully understand what an SOP is and why they are needed before looking at the structure of a typical SOP. Once the basic concepts are understood, we will focus on the writing process to ensure SOPs are efficiently produced and address the readers’/ users’ needs. This is done through understanding the function of each section of an SOP, from initial objectives and scope through to the actual step-by-step guide through the procedures concerned. To achieve the latter with clarity and without ambiguity, participants will look in detail at the language of instructions, and the essential aspects of presenting hazardous stages in any procedure.
