For over 20 years now, he has worked as an Operations Excellence Consultant and brings with him experience of many organisations and industrial sectors both as a consultant and as an employee. These experiences include large process industries such as Oil, Gas, Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals (including high hazard COMAH sites in Top and Lower tiers), plus Pulp & Paper, Iron & Steel and other continuous and batch processes including discrete manufacturing. Additionally, he has applied lean thinking and continuous improvement within other less traditional fields of Construction and Software Development whilst also improving his own field of Consultancy. He has worked internationally as well as the UK, having delivered major results in France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Spain, South Africa, Mozambique and the USA.
His training and development experience straddles almost all his career and even the first job he had, as Electronics Technician, was within an educational establishment (Newcastle Polytechnic) and he was often involved with the students and lecturers.
