A leading research university in Malaysia was keen to use this Virtual Reality (VR) Modules to enhance the learning experience of their students, and eventually complimenting the existing programmes they had in the university.

Centre for Excellence in Teaching and Learning Director, Dr. Tazli Azizan invited us to present and do a proof of concept with the lecturers from Department of Petroleum Engineering, Department of Mechanical Engineering and Department of Geosciences.

The feedback we received from all of the lecturers was great and they believe it is the new way of learning.

The university was very pleased and keen to implement the modules to all university first year students as they will learn an Introduction to Oil & Gas Modules, and the VR would be as a part of their visual aids.

We delivered 5 off-the-shelf WellSite VR Modules and 1 Geology Field Trip Module. Below are the list of modules acquired by the university:

  • Semi Sub Offshore Rig
  • Drilling Blow Out Preventor
  • Land Rig
  • Downhole Completion Equipment
  • General Rig Safety
  • Geology Field Trip VR
