Well Engineering and Production > Produced Water for Upstream Oil and Gas Proven Sustainable Technologies with Lower Maintenance Virtual Instructor Led Training (VILT)

About this Virtual Instructor Led Training (VILT)

This comprehensive Virtual Instructor Led Training (VILT) course is designed to provide the participants with a deep understanding of produced water and its treatment in the context of the oil and gas industry. Produced water, the water that comes to the surface during oil and gas production, presents unique challenges and requires specialized treatment to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and to protect the surrounding ecosystems.

In this VILT course, participants will delve into the fundamentals of produced water, exploring its composition, sources, and the regulatory landscape surrounding its management. The trainer will discuss the various techniques and technologies employed in primary, secondary, and tertiary separation processes to effectively remove contaminants from produced water. Additionally, trainer will cover the emerging trends, innovations, and future outlook of produced water in the oil and gas industry.

Throughout the VILT course, participants will examine real-world case studies, examples, and best practices to provide practical insights into the challenges and solutions related to produced water. By the end of this VILT course, participants will have gained the knowledge and skills necessary to design, implement, and optimize produced water systems, ensuring efficient and sustainable water management in oil and gas operations.

The VILT course will be delivered online in 5 half-day sessions consisting 4 hours per day, with 2 breaks of 10 minutes per day. Course Duration: 20 hours in total, 20 CPD points. This course can also be delivered through Classroom Training.

By the end of this VILT training course, the participants will be able to:
