Following an extensive tenure with leading intervention service companies where he honed his expertise in slickline operations, he joined BP’s offshore operations team. As a well service supervisor at BP, he demonstrated exceptional leadership in managing complex intervention operations across the North Sea, overseeing critical activities on both platform and subsea wells including coiled tubing, e-line, slickline, stimulation, and well testing campaigns.

His career progression led him to a strategic position as a well operations engineer, where he spearheaded the planning and execution of well intervention programs for BP’s prestigious Bruce and Magnus fields. Following his transition to completion design in 1995, he has engineered and implemented numerous sophisticated platform and subsea completion systems, regularly providing on-site supervision during critical installation phases. His commitment to knowledge sharing has made him a sought-after instructor for completion and well intervention courses worldwide. Adding to his professional accomplishments, he authored the authoritative text “Well Control for Completions and Interventions” (Gulf Publishing, 2018) and has provided expert testimony at the International Court of Arbitration, establishing himself as a leading authority in the field.
