Reporting to: Director of Business Development


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategies to grow business in assigned markets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities while managing and expanding existing key accounts
  • Conduct client visits, prepare sales proposals, and confidently present EnergyEdge’s training solutions
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
  • Analyze market trends and learning & development needs to inform business decisions and improve client performance

Team Leadership

  • Lead and mentor 1 business development professionals
  • Set performance goals for team members and provide regular feedback
  • Foster a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of training solutions

Strategic Learning & Development:

  • Develop strategic learning initiatives aligned with market demands and client needs
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in learning and development
  • Work with the product development team to create innovative training solutions
  • Ensure the quality and effectiveness of delivered training programs

Performance Management:

  • Maintain high levels of sales productivity, including client meetings, CRM activities, and proposal generation
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for both individual and team performance
  • Continuously optimize processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, or related field; Master’s degree preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, with a focus on learning and development solutions
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing key accounts
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and learning management platforms
  • Deep understanding of adult learning principles and corporate training methodologies
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
