A British Education University in Malaysia signed a MoU with EnergyEdge last year, since then they show interest in having Virtual Reality as a new way of learning for their Petroleum Engineering department. The Head of Petroleum Engineering, Dr. Mohamed Ali & Ms. Aluyah invited EnergyEdge team a few times to their campus in Putrajaya to do a proof of concept with the lecturers and a short exposure session with the students.

The feedback from students was overwhelming, we conducted a session with 25 students of Petroleum Engineering and do some quiz based on the VR modules they exposed too. Results are as per below:

The university is now considering to buy 5 Modules from EnergyEdge and the discussion has reached their counterpart in UK.

It was really a very educating experience as I got to see things which our lecturer always said to imagine and assume. So this brings us close to reality and can experience how it is being offshore. Jyoti Shekhar, 2nd Year Students, Petroleum Engineering

At first, I am very excited and amazed on how VR works. It really helps us students on getting the equipment and surrounding better with this type of technology. On top of that, we can learn the practical things better. Mohd Syamil Mohd Saifuddin, 2nd Year Student, Petroleum Engineering

I strongly think that i can remember and learn better with the help of VR, and I think that my university should use VR in teaching and learning sessions for all courses. The use of VR makes my learning experience more fun and interactive as compared to conventional learning, and I would love to see VR being utilized in every course that I study.
