Surinam’s state oil company, producing some 25,000 BOPD, needed to deliver a cost effective injector well design that meets industry standards and well integrity requirements.
The main objective of this project was to validate whether the design was according to industry standards and, if required, which modifications were needed to meet the company’s objectives.
PetroEdge was brought into the project to review, commentate and where applicable, redesign the proposed injector and wellhead designs for suitability, functionality, and cost effectiveness. Written justifications in design improvements according to industry standards were also provided.
A digital final report was produced and included the following content:
- An executive summary
- A technical summary
- A description of the analysis methodology, a short description of the workflow used and relevant assumptions
- Results and findings
- Conclusions and recommendations
The project concluded with a new well design version as well as recommendations for potential equipment providers to assist the local engineers to leverage available new technologies.
