About this Training
This 40-hour technical training program provides a practical introduction to the design, calculation and engineering requirements of hydrogen piping and pipeline systems using ASME B31.12.
The course is delivered 100% online and on-demand, allowing participants to study at their own pace. Instructor support will be provided through the consultation forum on the Virtual Campus.
Participants will have 120 days of access to the platform to complete the course.
Course Outline
This module covers the main technical aspects required to design hydrogen industrial piping and pipeline systems according to ASME B31.12 and complementary engineering criteria.
Participants will learn how to interpret the organization of the code, evaluate hydrogen service requirements, select suitable materials, define design conditions, calculate pipe wall thicknesses, review welding and fabrication requirements, and apply inspection, testing, operation and maintenance criteria.
The course also includes practical case studies, conceptual questions, design and calculation sheets, and lessons learned based on real industrial projects.
