About this Training Course

This advanced three-day program is curated to address the critical intersections between legal principles, commercial realities, and the evolving energy sector. Designed for experienced professionals in offshore support services, the curriculum goes beyond the basics to analyse how recent geopolitical tensions, sanctions, and market disruptions impact the validity of standard Charterparty forms.

The course is delivered through a dynamic mix of case study presentations, legal principle discussions, and interactive group workshops. Moving away from dry theory, participants will engage in individual exercises and real-life scenarios, including Time Charters, Bareboat Charters, and Back-to-Back agreements, to ensure practical application of concepts. Participants are encouraged to work on the cases in their own time in evening after the lectures, to get maximum benefit of the contact hours with our trainer

Key Focus Areas Participants will rigorously examine commonly used forms such as SUPPLYTIME, TOWCON, TOWHIRE, and SHELLTIME, covering vessels ranging from Heavy Lift and Diving Support to Seismic Survey units. The goal is to identify lacunas in pre-printed terms and modify them to suit future operational contexts.
