Gas transmission, the critical process of transporting natural gas through extensive pipeline networks, forms the backbone of energy distribution systems. This comprehensive 3-day training course provides both theoretical foundations and practical insights into the complexities of designing, operating, and maintaining high-pressure gas transmission pipelines and related facilities. Integrity management stands as a cornerstone of effective operations, requiring unwavering attention to gas pressure regulation, quality control, and mitigation of external stressors. Comprehensive risk assessments address crucial factors including population density, optimal routing strategies, and secure integration of system components.

Safe construction and operational excellence rely on meticulous practices such as proper welding techniques, non-destructive testing, and cathodic protection which is essential for ensuring system longevity and reliability. Implementing robust maintenance protocols guarantees continuous pipeline surveillance and prompt repairs, preventing potential failures before they occur. This course will be delivered face-to-face over 3-day, comprising of 8 hours per day, 1 hour lunch and 2 breaks of 15 minutes per day. Course Duration: 19.50 hours in total, 19.50 CPD points.
