About this Training

The Tripod Beta Silver Workshop is a comprehensive two-day training program that combines advanced incident investigation methodology with immediate practical application and certification. Day one introduces participants to the foundational concepts of Tripod Beta and guides them through the model-building process, emphasizing practical application through case studies and hands-on software usage.

The workshop provides a unique accelerated path to Silver certification, where participants create a complete Tripod Beta report from a provided case study under expert supervision. What sets this workshop apart is the real-time review and feedback process conducted by the instructor across three stages, enabling participants to achieve Silver competency by the workshop's conclusion. This hands-on approach transforms the typical 3-6 month certification timeline into an intensive two-day experience, while still maintaining the rigor of the standard accreditation process including the three-attempt allowance and normal marking criteria.

Day two focuses on translating the analysis into comprehensive incident reports, with candidates receiving quality guidance throughout the process. Upon successful completion, participants not only receive their TB Silver practitioner certificate through the Energy Institute but, more importantly, gain practical experience that makes them effective analysts and investigators in their workplace. This workshop provides significant advantages: immediate certification, substantial cost savings by eliminating separate assessment and certification fees, and most crucially, hands-on experience applying the Bronze course methodology in a supportive learning environment.
