About this Training
This 4-day course on "CO2 Management: Sequestration and EOR," offers a deep dive into carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS) alongside advanced Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) techniques. In the beginning of the course, participants will explore global carbon emission trends, climate change implications, and energy outlooks. These sessions emphasize the role of government policies, international agreements like the Paris Agreement, and innovative incentives driving the adoption of sustainable practices in the energy sector.
The remaining modules of the course address cutting-edge CCUS methods, including geological storage, residual trapping, and direct air capture, alongside a comprehensive introduction to EOR methods like CO2 flooding and Water Alternating Gas (WAG) processes.
