Projections indicate that by 2050, renewable energy will become the primary source for new electricity generation. This shift is driving ambitious wind farm construction projects in increasingly harsh offshore environments, particularly across major markets like China, India, and the United States.
Building and maintaining these sites requires specialized support, including Commissioning Service Operation Vessels (CSOVs), Windfarm Installation Vessels (WIVs), and Jack-up Rigs. Because traditional Offshore Support Vessels (OSVs) are not designed for the unique requirements of wind and solar energy fields, a new generation of customized vessels is entering the market to meet rising demand.
