About this Classroom Training

This five-day course will guide delegates through all the elements involved in the treatment of industrial effluent. Delegates will receive a thorough grounding in all aspects of wastewater treatment plant design, operation and maintenance, as well as in depth information on all the latest technological developments in the field. This highly interactive course will be delivered using a combination of lectures, groupwork and individual exercises, together with video presentations. Delegates will work with real-world scenarios drawn from the course trainer`s own professional practice, including design and other authentic materials.

This course will provide a valuable insight into the fundamentals of plant design, operation and maintenance, delivered in an engaging way by an expert engineer and trainer. Your expert instructor is a highly experienced Chartered Engineer with over thirty years of expertise in process design, commissioning, and troubleshooting. He launched his career working with renowned international process engineering firms, Purac (now Doosan Enpure) and VA Tech WABAG. Throughout his career, he has been involved in diverse projects spanning various industries worldwide. His area of specialization lies in both clean water and effluent treatment.

Over the years, he has successfully designed, commissioned, and supervised the operation of a wide array of plants. These projects range from individual residential plants and specialized industrial water and wastewater treatment units to large-scale municipal water treatment projects across the UK, Europe, and the Middle East. He is widely recognized for his contributions to the field and has authored four internationally acclaimed textbooks, in addition to numerous technical articles and papers.

His expertise and passion for teaching have led him to serve as a Visiting Professor/Lecturer at esteemed institutions such as the Universities of Manchester, Chester, and PIEAS (Pakistan). As a testament to his dedication, he has received several awards for the quality of his teaching. Not only he is well-versed in academia, but he also offers professional training globally.

His qualifications include a PhD in Chemical & Environment Engineering from the University of Nottingham, and he is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (FIET), a Fellow of the Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management (FCIWEM), a Professional Engineer, and a European Professional Engineer (Eur Ing).
