Since 2008, he has focused exclusively on renewable projects, with particular emphasis on solar PV initiatives.

His experience includes licensing and overseeing a 50-150 MW solar plant in Zimbabwe, managing all aspects from siting and engineering to financing and contracting with EPCCs, off-takers, investors, governments, and lenders. He also involves in designing a $50 million portfolio of hybrid solar micro-grids for off-grid villages in Nigeria. Besides that, he also participates in the development of 5-20 MW solar plants in Sierra Leone, including financial modeling and contractor selection.  He also provides technical due diligence on operational renewable assets across Africa.

His academic background, including an MBA from London Business School, an MPhil in Renewable Energy from Loughborough University, and a Diplom-Ingenieur in Electrical Engineering from the University of Stuttgart, provides a solid theoretical foundation for the course material.
